We need to gather all of the relevant information about you in order to make a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. This includes medical history, dental history, your main concern, and a panoramic X-ray or single x-rays depending on your needs.
It is a great idea to print out the health history form, and fill it out prior to your appointment. That way, you can shorten your visit.
For a new patient, who needs a check-up, we offer the following services:
So, the first step when you arrive is filling out the health history form (if not already completed), then you will have some X-rays taken, and the dental assistant will escort you to the examination room. The assistant will ask you a few questions regarding your dental health.
Digital virtual charting allows the doctor to access your health history and X-rays from her computer. No waiting for X-rays to get processed. She will then enter the room to perform a visual oral examination.
The doctor will call out the tooth number and ask the assistant to document it in your chart (on the computer screen).
The doctor will go over the X-rays and treatment plan with you. We will help you choose the best treatment option within your budget. Our goal is to help you achieve optimum oral health and maintain it for life.
